Celtic Women CD Review and GIVEWAY!!!

I just LOVE when I get asked to review a CD and it is music that does not include the alphabet or dog name Bingo, etc! Celtic Woman is like no other CD I have ever owned.

Celtic Woman is an female group who have rose to fame without the normal things to aid their sales such as radio time or video airplay. Instead, they have connected and kept fans through their many PBS specials, live tours, and encouraging their fans to share their love for Celtic Woman with their friends and family.This past Christmas, Celtic Woman performed at the National Tree Lighting in Washington D.C. with Sheryl Crow, Common, and Jordin Sparks. As if that wasn’t enough, they were also asked to perform on Dancing with the Stars!!What I really liked about this CD is their take on some popular songs like Billy Joel’s “Goodnight My Angel”, Mariah Carey’s “When You Believe” and Sting’s “Fields of Gold”. The CD also has some Irish Classic’s as well. Though I have to say, their rendition of “Amazing Grace” is my absolutely favorite. My daughter really liked it and I think we have listened to it over and over and over again (when we aren’t listening to Alvin and the Chipmunks…see why I was so excited to get an adult CD!).
