What the Hell Body

Yes I am talking about my body.  Back in August of ’08, I had the Novasure procedure done because I was having a lot of issues…female issues.  I knew we were done having kids and I knew I didn’t want to live with those female issues for the next however many years until I hit menopause.  Of course I blogged about the initial procedure, which was no problem at all (if you leave out my accidental overdose on pain meds that made it feel like each individual hair on my head was being pulled out…).  I even blogged an update a few months later.  All was well at that time.  Sure I got my monthly pms type symptoms, but that seemed to be going away.  Or at least I thought so.

Until yesterday when I had quite the surprise when I went to use the restroom.  WTF?  Why am I getting a period now after almost two years of nothing????  And my husbands wants to know why I’m in a bad mood?  This would be like him all of a sudden not being able to get it up.  It is that BIG of a deal to me.  I was SOOOO happy to be done with my monthly Aunt Flo visits.  A person would think they were completely done after having nothing for almost two years.

Grr…this better be over quick and not come back next month.

That sucks big time. I'm 41 and CAN'T WAIT until I'm done with the "monthly enemy" crap! i don't understand why women's bodies have to put up with that crap for 30+ years anyway. ANNOYING, PAINFUL and somewhat "cramps" (pun intended) a lifestyle.

    GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

I had the procedure done in January and haven't had my period since. It's a little unnerving not to have it and not to be pregnant. So, for you, you didn't have your period at all for 2 years?
