My son, from the time he was a few months old, was always good for a laugh. Whether he was making a hilarious sound when he ate food he liked or laughing hysterically at himself, we were never without an opportunity to have a good time around him. Sometimes our opportunities to laugh at with him were because he just plain did not listen to what we told him.
One particular time, I was on the phone and my son, who was 3 at the time, was calling “mom, mom, mom” over and over again. He waned me to pick him up and put him over the gate so he could get something out of his room. Of course, he just couldn’t wait until I was off the phone. I even told the person I was talking with to hold on and said “Zachary please wait until I get off the phone and then I will pick you up”. Do you think he listened? Of course not. I hung up the phone a few minutes later, turned around, and this is what I found:
Of course I did what any mom would do and got him out picked up the camera and took a picture!!! I mean how could I not? For some reason he thought he would be able to fit under the gate. Obviously you can see he didn’t!

That is hysterical. I don't blame you, I would have gotten the camera too.

Ah yes. So been there. Both the gate. And the "I am torn, do I take a picture first or help him first" moment.
Thanks for the laugh!
