Backyard Safari Outfitters REVIEW

It’s summer and the one thing my kids want to do day in and day out is be outside.  We have a nice woodsy trail that backs up to my subdivision and the kids LOVE to go exploring in there.  They get super excited to see the various animal tracks, as well as seeing some of the bugs.  Now that we have a few things from the Backyard Safari Outfitters collection, exploring in the woods is a whole lot more fun!

Like most siblings, they fight CONTINUOUSLY over the safari vest.  But once we get who is wearing the vest out of the way and we are finally off to the woods, they can’t wait to start exploring.  My daughter likes to use the bug vacuum to collect bugs to look at.  I can’t blame her.  I’m not much of a bug person myself, but it is kind of fun to suck the bugs up in the vacuum to look at them closely!!

However, the coolest item in our Backyard Safari kit is the periscope!!  Sure you can use the periscope to look over bushes and big rocks, but what would you say if I told you that you can flip that periscope upside down and stick in 16 inches into the water and get an up close and personal view of the fish?!?
