So many families are in the middle of soccer or t-ball seasons and with activities like this, we know that at some point during the season, it will be our turn to bring snack.  When I was little, snack was ALWAYS a popsicle.  However now…it’s advised to bring a “healthy snack” for after practices or games.  So what do parents usually bring?  Prepackaged pretzels and juice boxes loaded with sugar.  Doesn’t really fit the “healthy” guidelines, now does it? Rather than juice, we should be checking out flavored water.

HINT Flavored Water gives you the opportunity to bring a drink that tastes like juice, but does not have any artificial flavorings, sugar, artificial colorings, or calories!  And they are delicious…and believe me, I am not a HUGE flavored water fan.  But I really like HINT Flavored WaterWater).  It had just enough flavor without being over powering.  Check here to see where you can buy HINT Flavored Water near you!

When you are trying to think of a healthy snack that they kids will like as well, look no further than Smart for Life’s protein filled snacks that are sure to help your kids score those goals and hit better.  Choose from chocolate chip cookies, cranberry granola squares, and protein bars and be the hit of snack time on the field.  I personally did not care for the cranberry granola squares or the protein bar I was sent.  But honestly, don’t go by my taste on this.  I tasted cinnamon and I literally GAG when I taste or smell cinnamon.  So they are probably very good, I just couldn’t eat it because of the cinnamon.

Leave me a comment and tell me what sports or activities your kids are in right now and what kinds of things you take for snack.  I’d love to hear your comments!

I was provided with HINT Flavored Water and snacks from Smart for Life for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are mine.
