When I started blogging, 3+ years ago, the only blogging platform I knew of was Blogger.  I signed up for an account and it was relatively easy to set up my first blog.  But as time went on and I saw all the neat things people were doing with their blogs and learned that they were doing it on WordPress.

No matter how badly I wanted to be able to do all those things that you are not able to do on Blogger, I wasn’t ready to make the switch.  You see…switching from Blogger to WordPress involves a lot…a lot of knowledge and no how that I did not have.  So I waited and waited.

Until I was approached by Lindsay from BloggityBlah after she read a post of mine talking about how I was thinking about making the switch.  She let me know that her business that she and another person were starting was everything I was looking for.  I decided to take a giant leap of faith and make that move to WordPress with her company.

BloggityBlah offers the following:

  • Set up of new blogs
  • Transfer from Blogger to WordPress
  • Design
  • Consultation
  • Hosting
From the very beginning, this process has been VERY painless!  I gave Lindsay and her designer what I was looking for my site to look like.  They immediately grasped what I was looking for and went to work.  After a few emails back and forth with some changes, the design of my site was complete (isn’t it awesome?!?).  Then came the transfer part of it.  It literally took Lindsay about 1 day to transfer 3+ years worth of Blogger posts and images over to WordPress!  Very painless indeed!
If you are even THINKING about switching from Blogger to WordPress, I wholeheartedly recommend BloggityBlah.  Be sure to tell them Leah from Diaries of a Domestic Goddess sent you!
