One of THOSE Days

Have you ever had one of those days where everything that could possibly go wrong…does? Yea, that’s been this day. A real winner of a day.

My day starts out with me going to see a seamstress about a dress I purchased at the end of June for a wedding at the end of August. If you’ve been following my blog or are friends with me on Facebook, you would know that I’ve lost close to 42lbs. Which of course is amazing and wonderful, except for the fact that this grogeous dress that I bought in August no longer fits me. And every Macy’s in the entire United States (I had them check), is out of the it completely.

My next stop was to the Verizon store. Now I should have known what I was in for before going into the Verizon store, but nonetheless, I went in there. You see, less than a week ago I bought a Galaxy Tab. I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but I bought it because the lady helping me said:

“You have 14 days to return it to get your money back”

I aksed her a bajillion questions about this Galaxy Tab. Even reiterating the return police. She NEVER said anything about a $70 restocking fee…which works out to like a 36% restocking fee…that’s ridiculous. The guy helping me had me in tears, was rude and wouldn’t let me speak to a manager. So what did I do? I called my husband. Moments later I was speaking to the manager and getting some much needed help.  He answered all of my questions and I left their feeling like I had options.  I was still royally pissed about that restocking fee that I was never told about, but I felt better than I did when I first walked in.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, I decided to meet my husband out at his office for lunch.  We spent his entire lunch hour (and then some) trying to find a blue tooth keyboard that would pair up with my Galaxy Tab.  After more tears…because I really felt like I was going to get stuck paying that $70 restocking fee, we found one at Best Buy.

So while my day didn’t start out the greatest, it finally ended well.  I had my keyboard that worked with my Galaxy Tab so I can blog on it…AND…I got to meet my friends ADORABLE little baby that was born yesterday.  There is something so peaceful about holding a newborn!

How was YOUR day??
