I love to bake. I’m not the greatest at it…well unless it’s my banana muffins (try the recipe…they’re awesome!).
One thing I like, and would like to be able to bake well, are cookies. But to be honest…I really hate making the dough and actually making the cookies. So I buy ready made dough, break them apart and bake. I know. Tota
l cop out. But they always turn out SOOOOOO much better than any cookie I bake from scratch. If any of you can tell me how I can make my cookies rise up and be like the yummy cookies you buy at the store bakery, please let me in on the secret. Mine are always on the thin side.
At any rate, I’m quite the rockstar in my family, according to my kids (and on a daily basis in my own head!), when I bust out with the Pillsbury Ready to Bake Shape cookies! I make them when they aren’t around so whenthey do get home they are amazed at my ability to produce a cookie with a shape in the center! They beg me to tell them how I do it, but I won’t! Sure I realize my awesomeness can be found out easy by a simple trip to the grocery store, but for now, I will let them think I am the coolest person on the planet for being able to get a Disney Princess in the center of the cookie!
Thanks to Pillsbury, one lucky Diaries of a Domestic Goddess reader will have the opportunity to win the awesome prize pack pictured below. Be sure to “like” Pillsbury on Facebook and join in on the discussion on their page!
