Dear Lane Bryant,
Why oh why are you getting rid of your Right Fit jeans in the blue category? That category is for the CURVY WOMAN. Your store caters to plus size women. Did you do a poll of the type of jeans your shoppers purchase most often? I bet more women purchase the Right Fit jeans in the blue category than any other.
I am really upset by this decision. Those are the ONLY jeans that I can wear that don’t end up gaping open in the back and showing the world my underwear or butt crack. I tried your Tighter Tummy Technology jeans and they are NOT comfortable at all. Have you tried the Tighter Tummy Technology jeans? They are so uncomfortable. And your Genius Fit jeans…they aren’t all that genius fitting. They still gape open in the back. One of your employees told me to try one of the other Right Fit jean categories. I had to go up several sizes to get one to remotely fit and then it wasn’t all that good. Plus, going up that many sizes is NOT good for the self esteem.
I urge you to reconsider this move. I think you will lose a lot of shoppers. What is wrong with picking something that works and sticking with it? A few years ago you went to the 1, 2, 3, 4 sizing to give the allusion of not focusing on a size, but come on, it was obvious that the larger the number, the large the size. So then you went back to 14, 16, 18, etc. with your Right Fit jeans. Those have been the best.
If I have to, I will get an online petition going. Plus Size girls for Right Fit jeans UNITE! You may be thinking that I am utterly ridiculous right now, but let me assure you…I am dead serious here. I would do anything (just about) to have you bring back these jeans.
Sincerely,
Woman without jeans

I LOVE your letter and hope it gets a response from them! Please share if you do. 🙂

I definitely will. I don’t know why in the world they don’t just keep things the same…it was working. I mean seriously, every time I go in there the blue in my size are gone. Doesn’t that say something??

I never tried their jeans but I am so upset that they changed their t-shirt bra to the padded junk. The last thing I need is padding. I loved the t-shirt bra. I want to cry every time the under wire breaks. (because you know they can only support this weight for so long).

Yea I’m not a fan of the padded t-shirt bra either.
