October headlight safety month. Bet you didn’t know that, now did you?!?

When it comes to caring for my car I’m a horrible owner.  My car is always trashed.  Toys all over the backseat; sweatshirt jackets thrown about because the kids take them off and just leave them; and my front seat is like a filing cabinet (minus the cabinet!) for all the ridiculous paper that is sent home from the school.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Pep Boys for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now I am pretty good about getting my oil changed, but then again, my car tells me when to do it.  One thing I’ve never thought about are my headlights.  But if I do take a moment to think about the headlights on my car, there are times where I complain that they don’t seem as bright…almost like they are slightly hazy.  Little did I know, my headlights needed a little headlight restoration.

That’s where the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit, supplied by Pep Boys stores, comes in handy.  This easy to do kit is perfect for moms like me!  It requires absolutely no tools and it is something I can take care of myself.  As I’ve mentioned before, my  husband travels a lot for work.  If I were to notice that my headlights were dim, I’d have to wait all week before something would be done about it…but not anymore!

Think for a moment about how dangerous it is to not have clear headlights.  Not only is it dangerous for you, but it is dangerous for every other person on the roard, whether they are in a car, on a bike or on foot.  With Halloween coming up quickly, the last thing I want to do is drive around with dim headlights.

Check out the before and after picture of these headlights:

(How many of you just went outside to see what your headlights looked like…don’t lie!)  Seriously though, I bet there are many people out there that don’t realize their headlights are that hazy and could use the 3M Headlight Restoration Kit.  Visit your nearest Pep Boys stores to purchase the Headlight Restoration Kit and make sure headlight safety is your top priority.  You definitely want clear headlights this fall and winter!  Even better…use this mail in rebate and save money!!  We all like to save money!!
