Christmas is one month and 24 days away!! Yes I am counting down! When you have kids, Christmas becomes a lot more exciting and fun. They are super excited and can’t wait to chat with Santa Claus about all the things they are wanting. I knew, as soon as my husband and I started talking about having kids, that I wanted to make sure our holidays were filled with traditions. To me, that is the most important part of the holidays (well, besides being together). One tradition that we started with the kids is watching Christmas movies and playing board games. The kids look forward to this every single year. Especially the Santa Clause movies.

The Santa Clause Movies

Since we are always watching Christmas movies during the holidays, we have a lot of favorites. However, one that always is top on our MUST WATCH list are The Santa Clause movies. If you haven’t seen them, then you must make it a point to watch them this year. Tim Allen is fantastic in these movies. The Santa Clause 3-Movie Collection includes:

  • Santa Clause
  • Santa Clause 2
  • Santa Clause 3:  The Escape Clause

Each movie contains a set of bonus features.  We love watching all the bonus features.  With the Santa Clause, those bonus features are:

About the original Santa clause movie

From Amazon-

On Christmas Eve, divorced dad Scott Calvin and his son discover Santa Claus has fallen off their roof. When Scott takes the reins of the magical sleigh, he finds he is now the new Santa, and must convince a world of disbelievers, including himself.

You can find the following extras on the original movie DVD:

  • “So You Want to be an Elf” featurette
  • Making Santa Snacks with Wolfgang
  • “The Night Before Christmas” short

About the Santa Clause 2

From Amazon-

In this heartwarming holiday sequel, a man who has been Santa for eight years is a huge success. But if he doesn’t get married by Christmas Eve – only one month away – he’ll stop being Santa forever.

You can find the following extras on the second movie DVD:

  • 7 deleted scenes
  • Gag Reels (our favorite!!)
  • “Inside the North Pole with Curtis“
  • Interviews with the Tooth Fairy, Mother Nature, Father Time and the Easter Bunny
  • Directors cut of a tour of Elfsberg
  • Ability to watch the movie with commentary from the director

About The third movie

From Amazon-

Scott Calvin invites his in-laws to the festivities. But the holidays take a chaotic turn when Jack Frost puts the big freeze on Christmas! Now, unless Scott can get his job back, it’s going to be a very glacial “Frostmas” all around the world!

You can find the following extras on the third movie DVD:

  • Blooper Reel (another favorite of ours!!)
  • Alternate opening
  • Jack Frost and Mrs Clause:  a very different look
  • On the set with Tim and Marty
  • Audio commentary with the director
  • Visual effects
  • Christmas Carol-oke
  • “Greatest Time of the Year” music video
  • Deck the Halls:  Virtual Holiday Decorator

Holiday Favorites

These are truly our favorite holiday movies.  If you haven’t seen them yet…where have you been?!?  You really need to watch this with your family.  It is fun for the whole family!

*I was provided with a copy of the 3-Movie Collection for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are solely my own.
