Funny Christmas Card Photo Ideas!

One of my most favorite things about the holidays is coming up with my holiday card to send out.  For Zack’s first Christmas he screamed his head off on Santa’s lap.  Instead of freaking out because it was not the perfect first Christmas picture like most new moms do, I actually believed it was perfect for me.  Everyone needs a kid screaming on Santa’s lap picture!  So…I made that picture my Christmas card:

Epic Christmas Card Ideas

Now I don’t know about you, but that is one creepy looking Santa…and what is up with the Dr. Seusschair?  I’d cry to if I had to sit on his lap.  But man did I catch some flack for sending a picture of my son crying as my Christmas card.  But, as you can imagine, I didn’t care!  After that, I was always on the look to top the previous years Christmas card.  So when Zack was four and Bella was two, we went to a milk and cookies with Santa event at Zachary’s preschool.  Bella actually fell asleep on Santa’s lap.  So here are the pictures we used for that years Christmas card:

This picture still makes me laugh.  Bella was out.  She had no clue that she met Santa or that we got several picture of her with Santa.  And would you look at Zack…what a cutie pie!

But, my most FAVORITE Christmas card ever, and will be very hard to top, is this years card:

 

 

Isn’t it great?!?  I have gotten so many emails and texts telling me how much they love this card.  Now answer me this…I tied my kids up with lights AND duct taped their mouths…how is this better than a kid crying on Santa’s lap???  I told the kids to act scared…I think I have child actors on my hands!

So how am I going to top this years card?  I started searching Pinterest for ideas for next year (yes I realize Christmas 2012 has not even arrived yet…it’s a sickness people).  I found some cute ideas, but nothing as good as what I did this year.  If you have any ideas for me, please let me know.  I’m up for anything!
