Anymore, I pretty much buy everything online. With two kids and all of their activities, studying for math and spelling tests…I don’t have time to get to the store and shop. And being the frugal person that I am, I like to shop around. I definitely don’t have time for that! So I shop online.
Shopping online really saved me this Christmas. I was sick right after Thanksgiving and just went I thought I was getting better, I got sick all over again. Since I was too sick to leave my house to shop, I decided to shop from the comfort of my bed! I got great things for everyone on my list and the best part…I saved a lot of money!

How to Effectively Shop Online
I know a lot of people like to shop online, but not everyone knows that they should ALWAYS look for a coupon code before checking out. Sure it takes a little bit longer to check out, but you can almost always find a code for free shipping or a percentage off your total order. Now let’s look at this for a moment…shipping can cost anywhere from $8 and up (depending on what you are buying). If you order items from three different sites, you are saving $24 or more!
One of the sites that I like to check out for coupon codes is Coupon Chief. Not only do they have a wide variety stores on their site, but they also have a Pay-2-Share program that allows members to upload a coupon code to the website and every time a person uses your coupon code, you get paid! I haven’t explored that option yet, but I really like the sounds of it!
