Tonight I decided to make Pizza Monkey Bread. I ran across the recipe on Pinterest (if you’re not following me…why not?!?) and thought I’d change it a bit for my family. The last time I made Monkey Bread was in 7th grade Home Economics class! Boy was that class fun! I have to say, junior high was probably the most fun time of my entire life. I have way better memories of my three years in junior high than of high school. Awkwardness and all!

Check out my yummy recipe below. It’s the very first time I’ve ever used my Bundt Pan.
Yummy Pizza Monkey Bread
Ingredients
- 3 small tubes of Grands Biscuits (or the store brand…either is fine)
- Turkey Pepperoni, cut into small triangles
- Mozzarella cheese
- Pizza sauce
- 1 stick of butter
- 1 tsp Garlic salt
- 2 tsp Organic Zesty Italian seasoning
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and prepare your bundt pan.
- Melt the stick of butter and add the Garlic Salt and Zesty Italian seasoning to the butter. Mix well.
- Open up the biscuits and cut a small slit along the side so you can open it up and make a little pocket.
- Put a little bit of pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and pepperoni inside the pocket and pinch the edges together, making sure to seal all the edges completely.
- Dip a small pastry brush into the melted butter mixture and brush both sides of the biscuit.
- Place the biscuit, seam side up, inside the bundt pan.
- Sprinkle a little Organic Zesty Italian seasoning over the dough in the bundt pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
My husband and son LOVED the Pizza Monkey Bread. Bella and I…not as much of a fan. But I think that’s because she and I really like the cheese on pizza, as opposed to the crust. While Zack and Dan ate enough of this to make it a meal, I think this would be really good as an appetizer.
You can see the original recipe that I adapted this from, here.
