My kids love music. We were at the orthodontist for Zachary the other day and they asked him to go back and brush his teeth before they took impressions of his mouth and a Katy Perry song came on and while he’s brushing, you could hear Zachary singing away. It was hysterical! For Christmas two years ago, Bella asked Santa to get her a radio/CD player with a microphone so she can sing. Do you know how many stores I had to go to in order to find that ONE thing she asked for. But we did! Bella is forever playing music (too loudly) and singing away! So, as you can imagine, Disney Music is something they love.
Zachary is getting to the age where his friends are starting to get an itouch or something similar. I can’t even imagine letting him roam free on itunes to pick music. There is so much out there that is just not appropriate for kids. Whether it’s the language in the music or the actual meaning of the song, there is just so much that I don’t want them listening to right now. So when I found out that Disney had their own site where kids could download music, I knew I had to check it out.
Disney Music Online has over 12,000 tracks for kids to browse through and they are all family friendly music that I don’t have to worry about! Thanks to Team Mom, I was provided with a $15 Disney Music Gift Card to try out the site.
If you haven’t checked out Disney Music Online, you have to! They have current hit stars like Selena Gomez, as well as Disney Channel series music, original movie soundtracks (like The Lion King or The Little Mermaid), and soooo much more!
After searching through the site, I decided to get the kids two Phineas and Ferb albums. The kids love the show and often laugh (and sing along) with the music on the show, plus I knew Zack would not have been happy if I picked The Lion King!
