A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to drive a 2013 Kia Optima EX.  Now you may remember that I’ve driven both a Kia Optima and a Kia Sorento before and I RAVED about the Kia’s.  They drive well and get really great gas millage.  And with the way gas prices are now, we need to be driving something that gets good gas millage.

The official color for this car is Dark Cherry with beige interior.  I was a maniac with my kids in this car.  Our conversations went a little like this:

Me:  “Don’t touch the seats”

Kids:  “How do we sit?”

Me:  “Sit, but don’t touch”

As you can imagine, Bella, especially, looked like the little girl sitting next to the little boy telling knock knock jokes in that AT&T commercial.  For your viewing pleasure, I’ve added the commercial below…

My Thoughts

Like I stated earlier, I love Kia’s.  There really hasn’t been a thing I haven’t liked in their car.  The first Optima I drove had air conditioned seats.  Do you know how nice that is?!?  I wish my car had that!  I really enjoyed driving this car and I was really sad when I had to give it back.  I like the push button start, though I have to admit…I got out with the car running a couple times!  But I’m sure I’d get used to that eventually!  The trunk is huge and my kids had plenty of room in the backseat.  The one thing I didn’t care for was the color of the car.

Check out all that Kia has to offer!  Which car do you like?

*While I was provided with the car to drive or a week, I was not able to keep it.  No compensation was received.  All opinions are 100% my own.

I drove an Optima Hybrid last year, it was pretty great. I love that cherry color, how come you didn’t like it.? It’s different and sort of red but not.

The reason I don’t want a new car any time soon is because I won’t want my kids in it LOL
