Christmas is right around the corner (53 days to be exact) and I get very excited this time of year. I love giving gifts and watching people open them. I especially like personalized gifts. I still remember a book my mom had made for me, The Fox and the Hound, and it was personalized so my name appeared in the story!

When I came across the personalized Night Before Christmas book by MyChronicleBooks, I knew I had to make one! What kid doesn’t grow up having this story read to them at some point during their childhood? I remember reading it and then being disappointed that I didn’t dream about sugar plums dancing in my head! I would lay there in bed, listening for Santa’s sleigh bell, willing myself to dream about sugar plums. <–True Story!
I decided to make this book for my nephew. I know he would get a kick out of seeing his picture in the book and having his name as part of the story! Personalizing the book was easy. I simply filled out a form with my nephews name, birthday, gender, hometown, etc and clicked submit. You have the ability to preview the book before ordering so you can make double sure there are zero mistakes. Lastly, you choose a picture that will be used as soon as you open the book. This part was a little tricky because the image had to fit in a star shape. But after re-sizing the picture I wanted to use, it was perfect!

This book retails for $34.99 and it is worth every penny!! It is a very well made book. The colors are beautiful and the hard cover is one that feels like it will hold up nicely to years and years of reading!
