Planning for my Cruise

In exactly 1 month, 11 days and 17 hours, I will be leaving for my cruise. To say I am excited would be an understatement! But I’m also nervous. You see, I am what you would call a “cruise virgin”. I’ve never been on a cruise before so I don’t know what to expect, other than that I will be on a boat with lots of food that will probably cause me to gain at least 5lbs. Other than that, I’m absolutely clueless!

Tips for the Cruise Virgin

While looking around the internet at different sites that contain tips for going on a cruise, I ran across a book for my ipad called, Tips From The Cruise Addict’s Wife. This guide tells you:

  • What to pack
  • What not to pack
  • How to get the most out of port day
  • How to get freebies on the ship

As you can see, this is a wealth of knowledge for a cruise virgin like myself. If you don’t have an ipad/Kindle or you prefer actual book version , they have that available.

I can’t wait to look through this book and see exactly what I need to pack. Right now, just looking at the list I’ve made, I know I am planning on taking WAY too much stuff.

What are your tips?

If you have been on a cruise before, help a girl out! Tell me, what are you must have tips and tricks? I am sure I will love my cruise, but the not knowing what to expect is killing me! Leave me comment with your number one tip.

Have you been on a cruise before? What are your must have things?
