My kids have been to Florida once and they loved it. They loved going to the beach, looking for sea shells, and digging holes in the sand. I can’t wait to take them to Florida (they went with my parents). One place I would like to visit is Gulf County, which is located in Northwest Florida. Come visit GCFL and see what they have to offer!
Gulf County has 43 miles of natural shoreline. Can you imagine how gorgeous that has to look?!? Since water surrounds the area, there are no high-rises or busy highways! Some of the activities you will find here are:
- Seaside bike trails
- Kayaks
- Stand-up paddleboards
- Snorkeling
This natural and pristine landscape is a wonderful, family friendly location that is both enjoyable for kids and adults! I mean, how can you not want to take a beautiful sunset boat trip?
Did you know that last year, the word “Selfie” was officially declared as the word of the year? Well Gulf County, Florida believes that you never looked more beautiful than when you are outdoors doing something you loved. In honor of this, starting March 13th, Gulf County, Florida has launched their spring promotion – #GCFLnofilter through instagram.

Here is a picture that I will be putting on Instagram when I was about to go Zip Lining. I was so excited to zip line through the Smokey Mountains…I took the FUN car ride all the way up the mountain, climbed across the shaky bridge, was hooked to the line and then I completely freaked out. It is on my bucket list to do some day!

Five long-weekend Spring getaways to Gulf County will be given out at random. Lodging in a unique location along the Gulf, St. Joseph Bay or in the cute small town of Port St. Joe will be provided. You will also be given $200 to help with travel expenses AND $150 towards the passion of your choice…you can spend that on a wonderful excursion once you arrive in Gulf County or you can treat yourself to something special at home!
