The day my husband sent me a text with a picture of a cute little kitten and asked me if I wanted her was a very happy day. I absolutely adore our cat Roxie. Even if she is extremely moody and will smack you if she doesn’t want you to pet her at that time! But look at her…isn’t she adorable?!?

Roxie gives it two thumbs up too!

There is nothing worse than trying to lug a heavy box of cat litter down the basement stairs. It always seems to work out that I run out of cat litter when my husband is out of town. Which also seemed to happen a lot when it snowed this past winter…hmm…

*I received a box of Fresh Step® Lightweight Extreme Litter for the purpose of this post. All opinions are 100% my own*

Fresh Step cat litter is our litter of choice because  I feel that it works best for us. I’m pretty good about scooping the litter every day, but when we went out of town earlier this summer, the litter did not get scooped for a week. I was really afraid that my house would stink when we got home, but it didn’t! That clenched it for me…Fresh Step was the litter I would always buy.

It’s like Fresh Step heard me cursing how heavy the cat litter was for me to carry down the stairs because they have come up with the Fresh Step Lightweight Extreme Litter that is 30% lighter! And it really is! It has activated carbon to trap and destroy extreme odors from urine and feces.

Products

  • 15.4 lb (22 lb equivalency)
  • 20.8 lb (29 lb equivalency)
  • 23.4 lb (33lb equivalency)

You can find the new Fresh Step Lightweight Extreme Litter in grocery stores, pet specialty stores, mass merchandise stores and drug stores nationwide starting in August 2014! For more information, visit www.freshstep.com

My Thoughts

I love it! It’s truly lighter and much easier for me to manage and the odor protection is great. I give it two paws up!

My cats name is Sookie. I love cats because they have a sarcastic, “I don’t care” attitude….. a lot like me 😉

I have 2 cats. Their names are Monkey and Biscuits. I love cats because they are predictable in some ways but totally unpredictable in other ways.

My kitty-boy’s name is Joey, and he has been with me nearly 15 years now! Why do I love cats so much? Let me count the ways—they are beautiful, smart, soft, sweet, floofy, loyal, funny, and fun to be with! All of these things and more I have learned from my lucky, lucky life with the best cat in the world!

We have 3 cats, Lady Elaine, Aphrodite and Nikki. I love cats because they are so relaxing. Just hearing them purr lowers my blood pressure.

We have one cat named Kia. She was named Kia because she was rescued from the engine of a Kia car. She’s been with us for 12 years, made us laugh and is a great companion. We love her so very much but she’s showing her age more every day.
