My son plays little league football and I will admit, I was not for him playing football. I didn’t grow up around the sport so it was strange to me to put my son in a sport that seemed so barbaric to me. However, this is now the start of his third season and if you were to ask me what I thought now, I’d tell you I am a football mom through and through! Youth sports are very important for kids to be involved in.

Last year they were the undefeated, Superbowl champions! Likewise, he was just a tad excited for his trophy!!

Youth Sports

Last year the board for his football team told parents they were buying all new uniforms…which is good. The uniforms they have are old and need to be replaced. However, that is that an expensive purchase! Thankfully there are organizations out there like Pear that help teams get matched up with sponsors to help with that cost.

What is Pear?

Pear is a social engagement platform that help different groups earn a sponsorship from brands, for FREE! The sponsors are from within the group or organization’s own community! Pear makes it their mission to make sponsorship a simple and easy process for both parties involved. So, right now, Safeskin Youth Sports Wraps is sponsoring youth sports teams all across the country by providing funds towards team apparel purchases!

How it Works

Sponsors ALWAYS have money to donate. However, they don’t always know how or where to donate it to. Pear is the middleman by helping the group leader create a Pear, how the group earns money, and the group leader invites others to join and help earn money by completing digital incentives. Each group can earn up to $1000 within a 10 day time frame and that $1000 can then be used toward team apparel. The more digital incentives you complete, the more money you earn. At the end of that 10 day period, the group leader will claim an online certificate that can then be redeemed at any Pear printer.

Right now, the Sahuaro Fastpitch Softball has a Pear trying to raise $1000 towards their team apparel. Help them reach their goal!! Maybe after you support this team, you would like to set up a Pear for your team or organization! Setting up a Pear is quick and easy. Follow the simple steps here. So if you set up a Pear, please leave a comment letting me know so we can support your efforts!!

The Fine Print

  • Group award (credit toward custom t-shirts or other custom apparel) valid at any participating Pear printer partner.
  • Requires application of a 3″ x 4″ Proudly Sponsored by + brand logo on apparel alongside your custom design (it looks good!).
  • Limit one sponsorship/award per group; no cash value.
  • Adult sports teams (participants 19 years of age and older) are subject to cancellation.

Finally, Please leave a comment with your Pear you set up! I’d love to support your team!
