Summer sleep-away camp…I always wanted to do that. I had a friend growing up that went every single summer. I was always insanely jealous! When my daughter came to me and told me that she wanted to go to sleep-away camp, I searched the internet for camps near by that I could send her to. I had no idea what they cost or whether it was something we could even afford to do, but I knew I wanted to try and make it happen for her!

One day I came across a camp that gave scholarships for first time campers. All Bella had to do was write and essay about why she wanted to go to sleep away camp. Her essay was great! The only help she received from me was on how to spell the word “nature”. She spelled it “nachure”! My absolute favorite part was when she wrote that she learned that sleep-away camp existed because of the Full House episode when the girls spent the summer at camp! About a month or two after sending in her essay, I got an email letting me know that Bella was chosen to go, FREE OF CHARGE!

Being a camp newbie, I have been asking everyone I know a billion questions about camp and what we need (they do give us a list). The biggest tip I’ve been given is to label everything! This is where Mabel’s Labels come in handy!

Making the labels were super easy. I went with the Limited Edition Camp Label Pack since it is designed to go on EVERYTHING that Bella will be taking to summer camp with her! You customize the label with your child’s name, whether you want it multi-color or a solid color, choose an image, and pick the font you want your child’s name written in. It literally takes a few minutes! For Bella’s label, I chose multi-colored labels with a cat on it. The little paw prints all over the labels are super cute!

Love their stuff! I have such a tough time getting organized and their products are perfect for us. Plus, my daughter has a peanut allergy so it is a necessity to label stuff carefully.

WE have a similar type of label and we LOVE it! They stick like glue! Its a good thing we have it because with some the of the kids in his class that have the same water bottle or backpack these are the best for those!
