*I was given the opportunity to test drive the Mazda3 for one week. After that week, I had to give it back. All opinions are 100% my own*

I was ecstatic when this cute little car arrived at my house! You see, one thing I would love to have is a red car, but for whatever reason, the red cars always seem to cost more. It’s crazy! So I live my red car dream through these week long test drives!

This car is significantly smaller than my current car, but my kids did have enough room in the backseat. The only person that did not seem to have enough room in the passenger seat was my 6’2″ husband. He felt a little cramped. Despite the small size of the car, the trunk was pretty good sized!

My son plays lacrosse and has a rather large lacrosse bag and I had no problem fitting that bag in my trunk, along with a chair for me and my weekly groceries. There was still room to spare!

What I found absolutely neat about this car was the color touch screen display. While it was a touch screen, it also could be utilized with a nifty little joystick type thing or as they like to call it the “multi-function commander control”.

Overall, I really enjoyed this car. I drove it like crazy all over town, taxiing the kids around to all of their activities and when I gave the car back, one week later, it still had about a 1/4 tank of gas! You can’t beat that gas mileage! The 2015 Mazda3 30 MPG city and 41 MPG highway! That’s fantastic!

This car would definitely be something I would consider if my kids were older and I didn’t need to cart them and their stuff everywhere!
