The holiday’s are quickly approaching! I am beyond excited for Thanksgiving. I am hosting this year and I love doing that. I’ve pretty much figured out what we will be having for the actual meal, but one thing I am not sure about is dessert. I’m trying to come up with something that will appeal to both of my kids, as well as to both my husband and I and my mom. This cranberry orange almond bark recipe may be it (none of us are pumpkin pie eaters…I know…crazy)!

Cranberry Orange Almond Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chocolate of your choice (white, milk or dark)
  • 1 cup Almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 cup Dried Cranberries
  • 1/2 Candied Orange Peel

Directions

  1. In a medium sized microwavable bowl, microwave the chocolate on medium in 45 second intervals, stirring after each interval until chocolate is almost completely melted. Continue to stir until all is melted and chocolate is smooth.
  2. Stir in the nuts, cranberries and orange peel.
  3. Quickly pour the mixture onto a baking pan lined with a Cookina® Cuisine Reusable Baking Sheet and spread it out evenly with a spatula. Refrigerate until firm.
  4. Break in to pieces and enjoy!

So…this looks good, doesn’t it? If you haven’t used the Cookina® Cuisine Reusable Baking Sheets before, you need to! They even have sheets for the barbecue too! This is definitely one of those recipes, in my opinion, that you can totally customize to fit your taste buds. Not a fan of nuts? No problem. Take those out and add something else crunchy like pretzels. Possibilities are endless!

Whatever recipe you decide to make this holiday season, be sure to give the Cookina® Cuisine Reusable Baking Sheets a try! You can buy them HERE!
