I really love giving gifts during the holidays. I like picking them out, I like seeing the recipient open them up, and I like to see the joy on their face as they check their new gift out. Typically I buy all of my Christmas gifts because I am not the craftiest person around. However, this Gingerbread Sugar Scrub is not only easy to assemble (notice I didn’t say anything about crafting!!), smells great and it makes your skin smell and feel great too!
Gingerbread Sugar Scrub
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Coconut Oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1/2 tsp All Spice
- Mason Jar with lid <–I would buy those. They are pretty and you can make several gifts.
Directions
- In a large bowl, add both sugars and coconut oil and mix well.
- Add in the vanilla and spices. Mix well for 2 minutes.
- Scoop into your Mason Jar and seal with a lid.

However, something like this is very inexpensive and your child will be so proud to give their teacher something they made! And this is definitely something your kids can help you make! Just use a slightly deeper bowl. I don’t know about your kids, but mine tend to spill when they are mixing by hand…more so when they were younger, but…
