How many have heard of GLP-1? I would think most of us would raise our hands. More than likely, when you think of GLP-1, you think of things like Ozempic, Semaglutide, etc. You probably think about celebrities like Kelly and Sharon Osbourne. They’ve been in the news a lot over the years about their drastically different look since starting a GLP-1 injection. I am not here to talk about them, nor do I think that the media should be making them the center of the headlines. What I am hear to talk about is the Plexus GLP-1 Support System and why this is the perfect support system for both people on the shot and not on it.

What is GLP-1?

Before we go any further, we should probably talk about what exactly GLP-1 is. GLP-1 is a hormone that every single person’s body makes. One thing that happens when our body goes through a metabolic shift (like during perimenopause), it has an affect on GLP-1. This is why you see so many women trying GLP-1 injections during mid-life. The nice thing is, you can choose to synthetically induce your GLP-1 production or you can choose to naturally boost it. GLP-1 is primarily produced in the gut, specifically the small intestine and the colon. However, very small amounts of the hormone are also produced in the pancreas and the brain.

How Do You Synthetically Induce GLP-1 Production?

To synthetically induce your GLP-1 production, you would talk to your doctor about going on a GLP-1 medication. This medication is usually in the form of an injection. Although, I do believe there is a pill form, if injections are not for you. The GLP-1 hormone tells your brain you are full and helps to reduce or eliminate “food noise”. It also tells your pancreas to release insulin to keep blood sugar stable. GLP-1 also tells your liver to stop producing excess sugar, while also slowing down the stomach to keep you feeling full longer. When you give yourself an injection of GLP-1, that injection is synthetically mimicking all of that for your body.

Can You Naturally Boost your GLP-1 Production?

For people like me that would rather naturally boost their GLP-1 production instead of putting something synthetic into their body, you can do so through nutrition, lifestyle habits (like moving your body and lifting weights), and through targeted supplements. I would prefer supplements, like the GLP-1 Support System (more on that later), instead of putting something synthetic into my body. With everything I am learning about gut health and how connected it is to basically everything, and how easily it gets disrupted, I would like to keep it as balanced as possible. This will, in the long run, keep me the healthiest, as well. So, by prioritizing protein and healthy fats and moving my body each day, I am helping to naturally boost my GLP-1 production.

So…What’s this GLP-1 Support System?

The GLP-1 Support System by Plexus helps us support our GLP-1 production…naturally! The system consists of:

  • Slim Hunger Control
  • Restore
  • Balance

This trio of products, in combination with prioritizing protein and moving our body, helps to naturally boost our GLP-1. The results people are seeing are amazing! I know, for me, the food noise is gone. Snacking between meals is a thing of the past, and I’m losing weight. But better than the number on the scale or how I look is how I feel…which is fantastic.

Can You Take the GLP-1 Support System with a GLP-1 Injection?

Yes! Absolutely! In fact, you want to. The reason being that people don’t typically stay on a GLP-1 injection forever. When you wean off of the injection, you could gain weight back. The food noise returns, etc. However, if you are taking our GLP-1 Support System alongside your injection, you are able to wean off the injection and that food noise remains gone! You are also supporting, not only your GLP-1 production, but also your gut, your blood sugar, your liver, etc!
