I am very excited to introduce you to my Brandcation sponsor…drum roll please…

This website, pickURgift.com, brings the fun back into gift giving. I don’t know about your family, but it seems that we have gotten away from the whole gift giving thing and instead, either buy a gift card or buy exactly what the person says to buy. How fun is that?

It’s not!

How does it work?

Let’s say you need to buy a gift for your sister in-law, but your sister in-law is the HARDEST person to shop for. Half the time your gifts get shoved in a closet, or worst yet, she re-gifts it…TO YOU! This year you would like to get something she likes, but also get something that you sort of pick out for her. That’s where pickURgift comes in.

First, after registering at pickURgift.com, you then add the UR Button. This is easy. It goes right in your bookmarks on your toolbar. After adding that, you head to whichever site you would normally purchase something from and look around. When you see something you think your sister in-law would like, you click the UR Button. A little box will appear on the right hand side of your screen with the image of what you are looking at. You then can choose which gift list you want to put this item on.

Second, once you have added all the items, in the price range you want to spend, you then send the list to your sister in-law. This is where the neat part comes in for both of you. She will then select an item she would like and send the list back to you.

And finally, you now know what she would like, and your gift won’t be a big waste of money! Win-Win situation all around!

Can I Make a Wish List?

This is the beauty of the pickURgift. You can make a wish list of items you would like. This comes in handy for all those times people ask you what you would like, and you have nothing to tell them. Happens to me all the time and it totally frustrates my husband. So now, since I have the UR Button in my bookmarks, I can add items whenever I see something I would like!

Doesn’t this sound neat?!? Be sure to check back often, as I will be sharing more about pickURgift (oh and lots about my cruise for Brandcation too!). In the meantime, please check out pickURgift on Facebook and Twitter. Be sure to follow both!

Also, you can follow along with me on my social channels about Brandcation by using the following hashtag: #SeasTheDay.

I LOVE Pick UR Gift. They are a client but I also think the idea is very clever. I wish everyone would use Pick UR Gift when they sent me a gift. You will NEVER give a bad gift again.

Woah, what a cool concept! My own HUSBAND has problems buying presents for me, so this will be great for me all around. Congratulations on the sponsor, Leah!

I am the anti gift card person so I love this idea! I just can’t stand giving a present that is not thoughtful of the person or situation. Gift cards are just so impersonal.

Why didn’t I know about PickURgift this past Christmas?! My husband’s family is extremely hard to buy for and we usually end up doing gift cards which are pointless and impersonal in my opinion. Definitely looking further into this1

I love this! I hate giving gift cards too. Even if it is to a place I KNOW the person loves – it still feels so impersonal.
