What is going on with this season? Has all of the good singers in America come out in the previous seasons and now we are left with the semi-talented singers this year? Now granted, they can all sing WAY better than I do, but still. I literally feel like I am listening to nails on the blackboard at times. Not to mention…a couple of them are really hard to look at, style wise. A mullet? Bowl cut? I haven’t seen hairstyles like that since I was in elementary school…back in the 80s!!
And Ellen…I like her…shoot I email her show ALL.THE.TIME. But I am totally not digging her as an Idol judge. It’s hard to listen to her give advice and listen to her critique the singers when she is a talk show host and comedian. I think it’s because I am used to seeing Ellen look relaxed and happy. She seems so uptight and share rarely smiles (though that could be because of the lack of talent).

Americain Idol suck PERIOD!! If you saw tonight 3/17/2010 David Cook hacked the Rolling Stones and, that other idiot with her stupid blah blah blah song was more than i could bear!!. Kelly Clarkston and, Carrie Underwood are the best to come out of idol! note…NOT Chris Daughtry because he sucks too.
American does suck this year. After Adam lambert last year and all his drama- this season falls flat and seems 1 dimensional. Some of these people can hardly sing, sing off-key, and are as exciting as a piece of white bread. The voices aren't strong and they have no stage presence. I have been watching ever since day one but this year, for the first time,I'm flipping back and forth to the Yankee game.
Imagine next year when Simon's gone- you can already tell he doesn't give a crap anymore…
