A couple in Clarkston, Michigan has hoped for years to conceive a baby on their own. However, like a lot of couples out there, their ability conceive a child is not in the cards for them. Rather than spend a life without children, Wendy and Josh Rougeau has decided to open their hearts further and adopt. Unfortunately, when working with adoption agencies, it could be months…even years…before a child is placed in your arms. Wendy and Josh wanted a child faster than that so they took matters into their own hands by creating business cards, t-shirts, and fliers. Until one day they thought on a much grander scale and dropped $2000 for a billboard that can be seen by many more potential families.
Since purchasing the billboard, Wendy and Josh have received many phone calls from people letting them know that they are in their thoughts and prayers. They just have not received the one call they are hoping for. But they are hopeful.
How neat is that? I wish them lots of luck! I can’t even begin to imagine what they are going through…wanting a baby so badly, but unable to conceive. Hopefully 2011 will be their year!
