Dear 7 Eleven Corporation,

I am writing you this evening to kindly request that you bring in more sugar free slurpees.  I would love to see a Diet Pepsi slurpee again as well as sugar free options of your more popular flavors like grape, cherry and lime.

I have Diabetes, which to be honest with you, when it comes to things like slurpees…that diagnosis is a death sentence to me.  You see, my love affair with slurpees started when I was in middle school.  You never saw me without a slurpee.  As I got older and entered high school, the only time I did not have one in my hand was during swim season between the months of August and November.  But you better believe, the very first thing I did after swim season was buy a slurpee.  So as you can imagine, driving past one of my favorite places and not being able to get a delicious slurpee, it’s heartbreaking to me.  If I’ve ever felt like throwing a tantrum in my life, it’s when I walk into a 7 Eleven and see all those yummy slurpee flavors that I can’t have.

So please…consider getting more sugar free options.  Not only are you helping with childhood obesity, which lets face it, there are a lot of overweight kids sucking down slurpees…why not offer them a much better alternative?  But you will also totally make my entire life if I could drink a slurpee again.

Please feel free to contact to discuss this further.

Sincerely,

Leah a.k.a Slurpee Addict

i like the point made with making it a better alternative for kids. My kids don't do the slurpee thing but they love icecream. I try to get light whenever possible, especially with the amounts they consume.
