How to get Beautiful Skin

I just got back last night from a very fun weekend away with my husband and kids.  As I started to look through all the hundreds (literally) of pictures that we took, the one thing that stood out as plain as day was how large my pores are and how oily or shiny my face looks in the pictures.  I’ve always had an oilier t-zone on my face, but the gigantic pores didn’t seem to be an issue until after I was pregnant with my son…as if stretch marks weren’t enough, ya know?

Anyway, so I have these large pores.  What do I do about them?  It’s been recommended to me that I look into organic skincare.  Now I will admit…we are not the most “green” family.  I’m not proud of that and actually it’s one of my resolutions to get more green in the future.  Not only do I want to start recycling, and doing my part that way, but I want to buy more natural, organic products.  But where to do I start?  How do I even begin to know what products to look at?

Well, for starters, I want to help my oily skin issue.  One of the things I am HORRIBLE at doing is putting lotion on my face.  I know that I should.  And I know that keeping my face hydrated actually helps with oily skin.  I know this.  I’ve read it.  People have told me this, yet I don’t do it…and here’s where I am going to totally blow your mind…I have been told to try organic argan oil…FOR MY FACE!  I know what you’re thinking…you’re thinking “don’t do it.  Don’t put oil on an already oily face”.  But guess what…I’m going to try it.  Read the reviews.  People love it and say it totally helps their “issues” with their skin.  Not only that…if you have dry hair, some are even putting it in their hair!

What products do you use?  Give me recommendations!  I love to try new things and I will pretty much try anything at least once.  Except for a tip I read in a magazine once that said to wash your face with urine.  That’s just a little too out there for me!

I know something PERFECT for you (I just did a review and have a giveaway going for it!)..

    TROPICAL TRADITIONS ORGANIC SKIN EXFOLIATOR

I have oily skin, but I find that when I wash my face with stuff, it gets really dried out for a while which causes my oils to work overtime. With this stuff… it's made with organic coconut oil and jojoba.. and it leaves my face perfectly smooth and the right balance without being too oily, and i've noticed a HUGE difference!

    🙂

    Hope this helps, love!
