Victoria Secret’s Bras and Panties

For the record, I hate the word panties. It ranks right up there with words like organism (I ALWAYS without fail giggle like a 6th grader or say orgasm), moist, Dick as a persons name (I grew up during a time where the word “dick” meant one of two things, a part of the male anatomy, or an insult) and pussy cat (primarily when you hear an old lady say, “aww look at that pussy cat”…just doesn’t sound right). I full acknowledge that these are my own personal hang ups.

Anyway, back to the post at hand, Victoria Secret’s bras and panties. I don’t get the big deal about them. I know a lot of people that show there and they must have the national debt in intimate apparel. Any Victoria Secret stuff I have ever bought has fallen apart. And trust me, it’s not because I am some huge amazing rack that just pops the wires out or breaks the back clasps. They just don’t hold up. But yet, anytime I am at the mall, that store is just packed with people. Now I do like their perfumes and lotions…and I LOVE their bags, but that’s about it.

Anyone else have similar issues with their intimate apparel? I have one of those things you put your bras so you are able to put them in the washing machine and not ruin them. But it still doesn’t help. If you do have those problems, where do you shop then?

I can’t wait to see the keyword searches for this post!

I don't get it either. I got sick of their ill fitting bras and they do fall apart really quickly. I do buy their undies though when I am at the VS outlet as they sell them for $3 or less a piece. But I could care less if they were gone tomorrow.

You know I've only ever found ONE bra from VS that fit right? I really like Hanes. Especially with their tagless ones. I do have some VS stuff for "fun" though. It never stays on long, so it doesn't have to be comfortable. They are good for that kind of stuff.

Oh, and I have a black silk sheath dress from their catalog that I LOVE. My DH bought it for me for Christmas when we were dating. It's my Little Black Dress that I pull out for everything. But yeah, they fall short in the bra dept. imo too.
