My Take on the Twilight Hoopla

I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND IT!

I was probably one of the last people to jump on the Twilight bandwagon and now I am wondering “what the hell took me so long”??? I read the book in 3 days. I stayed up until 2am the other night to finish it. I could not put it down.

And Edward. Don’t even get me started on Edward. I mean it’s a good thing that he is “technically” old cause I would totally feel dirty about the way I am lusting over his pale yumminess. And I haven’t even seen the movie yet. This is just the image that Stephanie Meyer has been able to draw up in my mind with her wonderful way with words. I mean, how could you not be in love with a man that sparkles (if you don’t know what I mean…read the book. I think that description of Edward is one of my favorites).

Vampires are hot, yo. Yeah sure they survive off of blood. That’s kinda nasty, but shit the power they possess; the way they love with their entire soul; me thinks I would TOTALLY fall for a vampire…if they were real and all. Sure there are some sicko’s out there in the “real world” that like to drink blood (blech)…but true vampires that are immortal…yea that there are not.

I am in the middle of New Moon and I can barely put the book down. So many people told me that the second book is slow. I’m not finding it slow at all. I like this one almost as much as the first one. I cannot wait to see the movie. Edward…in the flesh. This is one movie that will definitely be in Dan’s benefit to watch with me…if you know what I mean! *wink wink*

So if you haven’t read the books…definitely do so!

I just recently read "Twilight" myself and wondered throughout the entire thing what the hell took me so long. Wait till you get into "Eclipse" and "Breaking Dawn" ::Sigh:: They were the best.
