Are Your Feet Ready for the Summer?

My kids and I were at the store today…which I have to say, it was pretty crazy on my part to one, take both kids with me to the store on the last day of school and two, do it right before Father’s Day when EVERYONE is out shopping for their BBQ stuff.  Despite how stupid it was of me to take them, I got some pretty good deals and saved quite a bit of money…I guess my kids are used to me saying “no we can’t get that.  I don’t have a coupon” (I say it a lot!!!).

The first section I hit up?  Women’s sandals!  A friend of mine told me that the store marked all the sandals on sale.  One thing I LOVE almost as much as my kids and getting a good deal is wearing sandals.  Open toed; closed toed; flats or wedges…it doesn’t matter.  My feet love to breathe!

However, you won’t catch me wearing sandals or flip flops unless my feet are worthy of wearing them.  There’s nothing grosser than seeing a pair of feet that haven’t had any attention…ever.  And believe me…I used to work at a pool so I saw A LOT of bare feet and there were so many people that I don’t think have ever heard of lotion let alone a pumice stone.

There’s nothing more relaxing to me than a pedicure…well besides sleep and maybe my kids having a sleepover at grandma’s!  The only thing I wished was that you could have the people that give you a pedicure use that tool that scraped the skin off…you know what I’m talking about?  The tool that basically cuts the skin off.  My feet ALWAYS felt so soft and awesome after pedicures like that.  But apparently they aren’t good for your feet and whatnot so they don’t do it anymore.  But regardless…pedicures are still awesome!  In fact, I am getting one in a week or two before I go to a wedding.  I have an awesome black and white dress I’m wearing…what color toes should I do?

I LOVE when Summer arrives and I can break out my flip flops! However, my toes have to be painted and pretty, and I go all out on pedicure stuff! It's cheaper than getting one every week, and I enjoy the time by myself!

    Hot pink!!!

    Or fire engine red!!!

I love pink and red on my toes. I've even done orange!! I like to do different colors on my toes. 🙂 Have them paint a flower on your big toe too (most places don't charge extra for that). Enjoy your pedicure!!!
