One of the many domestic duties I despise is cleaning the dishes.  It’s really not a big deal to clean them if you immediately put them in the dishwasher…but to have tupperware sitting in the sink for a day with the lid tightly on, locking in the food particles left after eating is gross.  But the worst is cereal bowls or glasses of milk left in the sink…how hard is it to dump them out?  For whatever reason, my family enjoys seeing me gag over the sink when I find those things left in there.  I mean seriously, how hard is it to dump a bowl of cereal or to place a dish in the dishwasher?  And then there’s the whole “well I didn’t know if it was clean or dirty” argument…or excuse as I like to call it. But now they have nifty little magnets that say “Dirty/Clean” and you just flip it over accordingly…see those are for the families that find it too difficult to open the dishwasher and take a peak inside!

Finish Quantum Dishwashing has us covered!  How many of you pretty much clean every dish and THEN put it in the dishwasher?  Yep…I’m one of those too.  The worst is when you have stuff baked on to the dish.  Not only can you not scrub it off, but you have to let it soak over night.  Then it takes two days to get the sink empty.  But with Finish Quantum Dishwashing detergent, you simply place the dishes in the dishwasher as is (though I would remove any chunks of food…you don’t want chunks in your dishwasher) and run the dishwasher.  Your dishes will come out clean every time!  And if they don’t, you get your money back!  Check out more about The Finish Challenge on their website.

So what did I use to take “The Finish Challenge”?  My husband ate some leftover Lubi (a super duper yummy arabic dish that is basically a green bean meat stew eaten over arabic rice).  Of course he did not put the dish in the dishwasher, nor did he rinse it or put water in it in the sink.  So the tomato sauce became one with the bowl.  The next day I put the bowl in the dishwasher as is with the rest of the dishes.  A couple hours later I went to put the dishes away and EVERYTHING came out perfectly clean!

You can buy Finish Quantum Dishwashing detergent and all major grocery stores.  But two lucky winners can win a package here!  Read below for details on how you can win!

I really can’t stand mopping. You have to move stuff, then it kills your back, and then you can’t walk in the kitchen until the floor is dry. And there is ALWAYS a small person (or a dad) who doesn’t listen. Grr!

The question is not what do I dislike the most it is what do I like. For me it is probably the massive pile of laundry that seems never ending. The washing is the problem, it is the folding…I say this as my husband is telling me the dryer is going off. LOL
