Wine & Love 8/11/11

If you aren’t familiar with Wine & Love, this is a meme I have decided to participate in where each week I post my “wines” and “loves” for the week!  My goal is to have more “loves” than “wines”.  Those of you that would like to participate, you can link your post up at Walking with Nora each week!

My “Wines”:

**My house is a disaster, yet I like motivation to do anything about it.  We’re talking, the ENTIRE house needs to be organized and clutter free.  It’s like I get it there, but then it because a disaster zone very quickly.

**Same crud going on that has me completely stressed out.  But, like I said last week, I can’t control nor change it…but it’s still a HUGE “wine” for me this week again.

**I planned a play date for my kids and some friends from my sons school for this past Tuesday.  My son decided to go completely ape shit and due to his behavior I had to cancel the play date for us.  It was HORRIBLE and I felt bad because I knew he was looking forward to it, but I also knew that he had to learn that he couldn’t behave that way or talk to me the way he did.  It didn’t help that a friend told me that what I did was completely unfair to my daughter…which maybe it was, but what was I supposed to do?  Take a screaming child to the park and handcuff him to me?

 

My “Loves”:

**I am meeting a really good friend for dinner tonight to just talk and laugh.  I can’t wait!  It’s been awhile since I’ve gone out sans kids so I can’t wait!

**My daughter’s 5th birthday party is coming up!  I made the invitations this week and will hopefully get those sent out soon.  I LOVE planning parties.  Her theme for this party is “Rock Star Diva!”

**School starts in 26 days!!
