We all know that when it comes to getting children (and sometimes adults) to eat their vegetables, it’s usually a losing battle.  Green Giant is trying to change all of that with their new Valley Fresh Steamers Vegetables with Pasta. You see, it combines two of children’s favorite things (cheese and pasta) with one of their least favorite things…vegetables.  My least favorite vegetable is broccoli.  I like it raw, but cooked…I can’t get past the smell of it.  However, cover it in cheese and it’s delicious!

My kids are like me…they like broccoli (or trees, as they call it) raw…but once it’s cooked, they are complaining and pretending to puke just so I don’t make them eat it.  I don’t know about you, but I do not handle puke well at all. So as soon as I see them gag, fake or not, I make them stop eating.  But when I served the Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers Vegetables with Pasta, they ate it up!  At first they said “no way am I eating that” and “eww gross, broccoli smells bad” and I may or may not have bribed them with a dollar to eat it, but the bottom line is, once they put it in their mouth…they liked it!  We tried the macaroni and cheese sauce with broccoli.

One lucky winner can win the prize pack above that Green Giant and My BlogSpark sent me!  Be sure to read below on how you can win!

I love almost every veggie. But brussel sprouts are not my thing. Like you, I just can’t get past the smell!
