In the form of a robot vacuum! No really…I have! With a husband that works long hours and two kids involved in all kinds of activities, my life is crazy. I’d love to say my house is immaculate at all times, but I’d be lying! One of the biggest problems (and thing that irritate me the most) is how my floor in the kitchen and hallway never seem to be swept up enough. I literally have to sweep the floor multiple times a day. It would probably make sense to just vacuum once a day at the end of the day, but I’m exhausted at the end of the day. The last thing I want to do is clean! Robot vacuum to the rescue!

Why Do I Need a Robot Vacuum?
Well…picture this: you are quickly trying to clean up the downstairs because your parents are coming over for dinner. Â You have the bathroom to clean, dusting, vacuuming and mopping. With a robot vacuum, I was able to have that run while I did the other things. Once I was done with the other tasks, the vacuuming was done and all I needed to do was mop the floor. Â Sure it took out just one thing I had to do, but while I was doing all of my other tasks, I couldn’t help but smile because I didn’t HAVE to vacuum…it’s the little things!
The first day I used it, I followed it around the entire time! Â I couldn’t help it! Â It was amazing to watch it! Â I have a step down into my family room and I was really afraid that it would drive itself right off the step, but it didn’t! Â It stopped in front of the step, scanned the area so it knew how far it could travel without plummeting to it’s death and turned around!

A few things you need to know:
-
Depending on your the state of your floors, you may need to empty the vacuum daily. Â Especially if you have pets.
-
If the vacuum needs to be charged while it’s cleaning, it will find it’s way back to the charge, charge itself and go back out!
-
You will want to make sure little toys are picked up so the vacuum doesn’t pick them up (and possibly break).
-
This thing is amazing!!!
I could go on and on about how great a robot vacuum is. Just think about programming something to vacuum while you are gone. You get to come home to clean floors. Check it out! Â Tomorrow I have it set to vacuum my floor while I’m at the gym! Not only that, but I have the slow cooker set to cook my dinner. My day is made!

Isn’t it awesome?

I would love one of these. We have a ton of hardwood floors and it would be nice to have something run all over the place and suck up the junk that always falls on the floor.

Congrats on the awesome win! I told hubby I’d want one of these and he says to me…”no you don’t honey. You clean after we try to help you. There is no way you’d use it.” I guess he is right however it looks so cool!!

That little thing sounds so cool! My husband and I are nerds too, and we totally would have followed it around too! You made me chuckle! I can remember when I first bought my HE washer with clear top lid and how my husband and I watched an entire cycle, then puked because we made ourselves sick from watching it spin! Ha!
