One T.V. show I remember watching every single Saturday morning as a kid was The Berenstain Bears. Not only did I enjoy reading the books, written by Stan and Jan Berenstain, but the T.V. series was one of my favorites.  A couple years ago I introduced Bella to The Berenstain Bears and she too, fell in love with them.  We have a lot of their books and ON DEMAND has a few of the episodes.

*I was provided with the following product for the purpose of this post*

About the Berenstain Bears

Personally, from a mom standpoint, I like that The Berenstain Bears because each book or television episode teaches the kids a lesson.  One that stands out in my mind that I watched with Bella was about manners.  It gave me a good chance to talk to Bella about the importance of manners and be able to reference something she just watched.  Bella’s not perfect, but to this day she still references what we saw on The Berenstain Bears show!

When I was asked if I would like to review The Berenstain Bears DVD Collection, it was a no brainer!

Plot Synopsis

Set in the rolling hills of Bear Country, this animated comedy stars a fun loving family of honey Bears whose love, loyalty and humour allow them to overcome any obstacle that finds its way down to their sunny dirt road.  The funny, familiar experiences of this bear family instill timeless life lessons and reflect the traditional community values of country life.

This box set has a runtime of 165 minutes.  It is available at Walmart stores for $29.99.  For information, check out Phase 4 Films at www.phase4films.com/kaboom
