Well, it’s that time of year.  That time where my house smells like bleach, I smell like bleach and I’m constantly freaking out when my kids come home and say someone puked in class. After our experience last year with me constantly being sick and never being able to give my immune system a chance to get better, I try hard to make sure my kids have a clean and healthy environment. We went through so much Bounty DuraTowel.

Bounty DuraTowel

Bounty must have ESP or something because when they approached me to see if I would be interested in participating in a challenge that would help REDUCE GERMS IN MY HOUSE, I knew I had to say yes!  All I needed to do was clean my kitchen for three days with the same dishtowel.  Once those three days were up, I mailed my dirty dishtowel to the super secrete P&G laboratory and they analyzed how much ATP (adenosine triphosphate)…basically germs…were on my dishtowel.

A few weeks later, my results on how germy my dishtowel was, arrived.  The results are measured in RLUs.  My number was 999.  Here’s a chart showing how germy things are…the hotel comforter has me gagging:

So as you can see, a number of 300 is what is considered “clean”.  So my 999 isn’t bad, but it’s not good either.  But check out that average dishcloth number….BLECH!

All of this information led Bounty to develop the DuraTowel.  This paper towel has every quality you love about a dishtowel…but you throw it away!  It holds together better when it is wet which makes in an awesome paper towel to clean maple syrup off the table!  My kids are forever letting maple syrup dry on the table and then I don’t see it until it’s been there for hours.  But the Bounty DuraTowel attacks that maple syrup and holds together nicely without ripping like regular paper towels.

What Makes Bounty DuraTowel Different?

  • A unique structure that provides outstanding performance when wet.
  • Feels and cleans like a cloth with a new cloth-like embossed design.
  • A fresh sheet is cloth-like and strong enough to tackle tough jobs like cleaning countertops, sinks and even small appliances.
  • Clinically proven to leave surfaces 3X cleaner than a germy dishcloth that could redeposit germs on surfaces you come in contact with throughout the day.

Availability and Pricing

The Bounty DuraTowel is available in Food/Grocery and Mass Merchandisers (like Kmart, Wal-Mart and Target).  The suggested retail price is $3.19, but the price is at the sole discretion of the retailer.

I’m a fan!!  Try it out and let me know what you think!!

Bounty exposed my dirty dishcloth and showed me the cleaner way to clean with Bounty DuraTowel, the only cloth-like, durable paper towel that is clinically proven to leave surfaces three times cleaner than a germy dishcloth.* Find out more here!

*1tsp spaghetti sauce, 10 mls. coffee, ⅛ tsp creamer on laminate countertop
