Do you believe that miracles happen? I didn’t always. I mean…sure, I’ve read stories about a child being pinned under a car and the mom, through a huge rush of adrenalin, is able to lift the car off the child. Obviously there is some form of higher power here that gave this woman the ability to do something like this. Definitely a miracle. When my dad was in the hospital, fighting bladder cancer, his heart stopped. Doctors and nurses worked on him for over 30 minutes to get his heart going again. They all said it was miracle that he came back AND had absolutely no impairments, given how long he was down. He did end up dying a few weeks later, but his aggressive form of cancer really took over. Chicken Soup for the Soul: Hope & Miracles is a book you should check out.

I really enjoyed reading some of the stories in this book. I was not having the greatest day the other day, but thumbing through and randomly reading some of these stories really did put me in a better mood! This book would definitely make a great gift!
