Sometimes I feel like I have the pickiest eaters in the world. Green beans are basically the only vegetable I can get them to eat, unless you count the salad (lettuce and tomatoes) drowning in Ranch dressing. I sometimes think if I stuck a bowl of Ranch with a spoon, Zack would gladly eat just that. Blech! But then, at the same time, there are things my kids eat that other eight and ten year old kids probably wouldn’t touch…like calamari. I know. I don’t get it most of the time!

I don’t know about your kids or the kids that you know, but my kids usually don’t think that I know what I am talking about, but if a T.V. show or they read something, then they believe it. Drives me crazy…sometimes. Other times I totally use it to my advantage. That’s were the app, Pica Food comes in handy. It’s a Pica-Book that is interactive, animated AND educational. I know, right? Total awesomeness all rolled up into one app!

The app costs $2.99. You can download that app at the following locations:

  • iTunes
  • Google Play
  • Amazon

Sounds like a great app, doesn’t it?!? I don’t think there is a parent out there that doesn’t look for help with making sure their child makes healthy food choices; or help with a child who says they aren’t hungry; or how to handle a picky eater that refuses to eat new things; or…and this is a biggie, how to make sure that food issues don’t end up becoming a huge power struggle. <–every parent has been there, I think! I know we have been!

So…go ahead, download the app on your iPad, Kindle Fire, or your Android device! Have a little (educational) fun with your kids and you never know what might happen!!

If you are interested, there is another Pica Book that is FREE called Pica Sharing. You can download that app at:

  • iTunes
  • Google Play
  • Amazon

How would you like to try this app for FREE?!? I have three promo codes that I would like to give away to you!

Mandatory Entry:

Please tell me one trick you use to get your picky eater to make new and better food choices!!

Three winners will be chosen at random on February 23, 2015 at 10 pm EST. You must follow the mandatory entry directions to be eligible.
