I’ve been eating a mostly gluten free diet for a couple years now. I say mostly because I do not have Celiac Disease. However, I chose to eat this way because it makes me feel better. If you’ve read this blog lately, you would have seen a lot of the gluten free recipes that I’ve posted over the last few months.  So…as you can imagine, when I found out that Walmart was selling a lot of great gluten free brands, I was super excited!

Gluten Free at Walmart

So, as you can imagine, when I was asked to attend a tasting event at Walmart to try some of the new gluten free options they are selling, I was totally in!

When we walked in, the first stand we came to was for grilled cheese using Udi’s White Bread and American Cheese. Neither of my kids have had gluten free bread before.  But guess what?!? They loved it! I think my son would have taken a second sample, if the lady would have let him!!

Can you blame him though? Look at how delicious it looks! This was the first time I tried Udi’s White Bread. I normally just eat things wrapped in lettuce…no more! We ended up walking out with two Udi’s pizzas that I will make for our family game night coming up!! But seriously, check out the amazing Udi’s products in the freezer section:

Good Gluten Free Brands

Other gluten free brands, besides Udi’s, that you will find at Walmart are:

  • CLIF Bar
  • Nature’s Path Organic
  • Van’s
  • Quaker
  • Glutino

We’ve had Van’s products before and they are really tasty. Have you tried any of the products listed above? What’s your favorite? Please leave me a comment so I know what I should pick up next! Stay tuned to my next post about the two pizzas I picked up and a tasty recipe to go along with it!! #gfwalmart

It’s amazing how much you feel better eating gluten-free, even if you do not have the allergy. It’s so neat Walmart had this event!

I cannot wait to try this bread! We’ve been slowing switching over to gluten-free foods, and have been noticing quite a difference int he way we feel! So happy to see Walmart has such a great selection, too!

I love that there are so many gluten free options available now that taste just like the gluten version.
