“I participated in an Influencer Activation for State Farm Neighborhood Assist. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

What if I told you that you, along with the help of State Farm, could make a positive impact on your community? It’s true! You can do this through the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program!

What is the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program?

Have you ever looked around your community, seen problems, had an idea on how to help those problems, but didn’t have the money to do so? This is where the State Farm Neighborhood Assist program comes into play. They help to connect people with local non-profits that can help fix the problems that you have identified…but that’s not all! They also give communities the opportunity to receive funding to further help make an impact on their community! All they need to do is submit a cause they are passionate about and are able to rally behind and they could receive one of 40 $25,000 grants! Go HERE to learn about previous winners.

Get online and VOTE!

Sit down with your family and vote for the cause that means the most to you! You can search the entire United States at once or do what I did and search by state. In Michigan there are seven causes. I read through each of them, but the one that really resonated with me was Adult Daycare Services. This cause helps those adults that cannot be left alone during the day.

Get Your Kids Involved!

Empowering our youth to make a difference in the world is such an important thing. State Farm knows this and they started the State Farm Youth Advisory Board. This advisory board is comprised of 30 students between the ages of 17 and 20. These students serve a two year term and they are responsible for implementing a $5-million-a-year service learning initiative that focuses on issues that are important to youth and communities.

So what are you waiting for? Head on over and vote for the cause that is close to your heart and please come back and leave me a comment and tell me which cause you voted for!!
