Hosting events at my house is something I very much enjoy. Every year, with my side of the family, we celebrate Christmas the Sunday before Christmas. This year, that day was yesterday. My brother and his family came over and my mom came over. Normally we do something rather simple for dessert like pick a pie up from the store or something. However, this year, thanks to Baskin-Robbins, we got the most delicious and festive ice cream cake and Peppermint & Winter OREO® Cookies Polar Pizza dessert ever. The kids were very excited to eat it, as were the adults!

When picking out a dessert, whether you are making it or picking it up somewhere, you want it to be a show stopper. Sure the main meal is delicious, but lets face it, everyone looks forward to the dessert! You want something that not only looks fabulous, but tastes just as fabulous. This Baskin-Robbins Ganache Poinsettia Cake fits all of those requirements. Almost immediately, all of the kids started yelling that they wanted this for dessert. Once you see the slice, you’ll know why!

Are you drooling yet?!?

Ordering the Ganache Poinsettia Ice Cream Cake

Ordering this ice cream cake is simple! You can go into the store and order it in person or you can order it online! Whichever you prefer! I opted to go into the store (mainly because my daughter really wanted to “help” me order it). When you order, you have the option to choose what kind of ice cream you would like in your ice cream cake. There are over 15 different options from OREO® Cookies ‘n’ Cream, Rocky Road, Very Berry Strawberry, and so many more! We chose the OREO® Cookies ‘n’ Cream ice cream. Come to find out, that is a customer favorite! After choosing your ice cream flavor, you are given the option to put a message on the cake and what color frosting you would like that message to be in. And that’s it! So easy and so delicious! This cake is a 9″ round cake and it serves 12-16 people.

Because you can’t just have one dessert option on Christmas, I also picked up the Baskin-Robbins Peppermint & Winter OREO® Cookies Polar Pizza. This particular ice cream cake comes as shown with peppermint ice cream, OREO® cookies and marshmallow and fudge toppings. This ice cream cake, like the one above, was enjoyed, as well! In fact, we have leftovers and my kids woke up this morning asking if they could have a piece tonight after dinner! The Peppermint & Winter OREO® Cookies Polar Pizza serves 8.

Both of these cakes would make a great dessert option for your holiday celebrations or any other time throughout the year! There is still time to order! If you decided to stop by your local Baskin-Robbins, be sure to try the Peppermint Bark in the Dark, December flavor of the month ice cream! This flavor they decided to bring back combines the minty crunchiness of peppermint bark with Baskin-Robbins creamy Chocolate ice cream all wrapped together with a peppermint candy and white chocolate flavored ribbon!

Because I love my readers so much (and because Baskin-Robbins is just awesome!), I have a coupon for $2.00 off your Polar Pizza purchase!

Those are such pretty desserts! These look downright delicious. I love how they incorporated peppermint into the toppings. Definitely one way to make the holidays easier!

Oh my gosh, both of those look amazing! When I was younger we would have an ice cream cake for our birthday. It’s been years since I’ve had one so I think I need to make a trip to Baskin Robbins to get that Peppermint & Winter OREO Cookies Polar Pizza!
