Making the decision to go back to the Keto diet and be very strict, was the best decision ever. Having multiple surgeries back to back and straying away from this lifestyle, was terrible. Definitely not something I will willingly do again (the surgeries and straying from Keto). In fact, this year, I have decided to commit to a year of no Keto cheats. So far I’ve been successful in that goal! One thing that has helped me with this goal is the Keto protein chocolate pudding recipe I came across.

What is Protein Chocolate Pudding?
When I decided to commit back to Keto and have a year of no cheats, I also asked for a bunch of Keto cookbooks for Christmas. If I was going to do this thing again, I wanted this cookbooks filled with amazing recipes. In one of Maria Emmerich’s cookbooks, I saw a recipe for her protein chocolate pudding. Initially, there was no way I was making it. The recipe called for 10 hard boiled eggs and I hate hard boiled eggs. However, I finally decided to give it a go and I am so glad I did!

Does It Taste or Smell “Eggy”?
Besides not liking hard boiled eggs, I was also afraid that this protein chocolate pudding would taste and/or smell eggy. Aside from when you initially open the blender, there is no egg taste or smell. When I say it is mind blowing, it really is!
When you are done blending it, the pudding will be very smooth and a slightly thick liquid. Just put it in an air tight container and put it in the fridge and in a few hours you will have pudding! I really can’t express how shockingly good this pudding is.
Quick, Tell Me How to Make It!
If you are following a Keto lifestyle or just starting out, Maria Emmerich is a wealth of knowledge. She has many cookbooks (I linked a few above and will link a few more below), and I have like five of them, and everything I have made so far is amazing! If you would like to make this protein chocolate pudding recipe, you can find it on her website, Maria Mind Body Health.

Keto Tools for Success
Aside from shopping for the right foods and keeping them in your house, there really isn’t anything you “need”. However, with that said, there are things that make it easier. For instance, a great blender is good for the pudding I linked above. We also use the blender to make Keto strawberry milkshakes (so good)! I also love my cast iron pan. I use it SOOOOO much. The biggest piece of advice I can give you is to set yourself up for success. Plan, Plan, Plan. I always have a plan for what my dinner will look like. Once I know what dinner is, I then use whatever is leftover of my macros, to eat lunch and snacks. Since I do intermittent fasting, I eat lunch and dinner and whatever snacks I need.
