Whether it’s based on the title, the cover (it’s OK to judge a book by it’s cover in this instance), or a totally wild guess…you’ll both get a surprise and a new book to share. You can choose to go off on your own with zero guidance, or you can pick one of their top three themes they like (thriller, romance, self-help, etc).

I was hesitant to share this last one, but someone did this and I thought it was super cute finding the notes. What you do is you bring a pen and some sticky notes or small pieces of paper with you to the bookstore. Leave cute or funny notes in random books. They can be things like:
