holiday gift ideas teachers

Right now I am currently thinking about the fast approaching holidays as I rock out to the 90’s channel on Pandora! I’m making mental lists of what I want to get everyone on my list this year. One group on that list are my kids teachers. My son is in middle school and he made the suggestion to maybe get them each a Starbucks gift card for a cup of coffee or something. I thought that sounded nice. My daughter…she always has a million ideas. While they are all great ideas, they are usually much more than I can spend (that child does love her teachers, as do her parents!). So instead, I figured I would put together a list of holiday gift ideas for teachers that she could choose from.

Being that I am VERY MUCH into essential oils, my first idea is to pick up a bottle of Jade Lemon essential oil from Young Living. Just a couple drops of this in your water (glass or stainless steel water bottle only) will help you stay hydrated throughout the day! Not to mention, the health benefits of using Jade Lemon essential oil are huge. Just look:

Jade Lemon contains high levels of d-limonene, which helps invigorate, uplift, and energize, as well as support clarity of thought and purpose. This oil supports skin health; helps open and release emotional blocks; and is useful to clean, detox, and purify. A 1995 Mie University study also found that citrus fragrances induce relaxation and invoke feelings of happiness.

After spending a few months in a classroom with all the yuckies, the detoxing and purifying qualities of Jade Lemon essential oil is definitely needed! Like I mentioned above, when you are adding citrus oils to your water, you want to make sure you ONLY use a stainless steel or glass water bottle. I prefer a glass water bottle that I found on Amazon.

Don’t be afraid to have a glass water bottle in the classroom! The silicone cover around it really does protect it. I dropped it on my driveway once and it never broke! I use this water bottle every single day. I put my ice in first; then a couple drops of the essential oil; and then I add my water. Make sure you shake your water every time before drinking. Please note, I will ONLY ingest Young Living Essential Oils.

Other Young Living Essential Oils, besides Jade Lemon, that are great in water are:

  • Grapefruit
  • Orange
  • Tangerine (I like to mix this with the grapefruit)
  • Citrus Fresh
  • Lime (I like to mix this with grapefruit or lemon)

Ordering the oils above is super easy! Simply head on over to this link HERE. You have the option of becoming a retail customer (and pay full price) or become a wholesale member. As a wholesale member you get 24% off your products and there is no minimum purchase each month. To maintain your wholesale membership, you need to purchase 50 PV a year (roughly $50). So easy!! Email me for more details on becoming a wholesale member. I offer some pretty great incentives when you sign up. I’d love to talk to you about them!

So what do you think?
