I can’t imagine life any different! The calmness that we have in our house now is almost crazy. Sure the kids fight; and so do the dogs, but for the most part it is pretty darn calm and balanced in our house! I love it! It is so fun to watch the dogs run outside together and wear each other completely out. I can’t wait until my knee gets better and I can take them for walks. We got one of those leashes where you can hook both dogs together…I’m either going to get dragged down the street on my ass or the dogs are going to totally love walking side-by-side. I guess we’ll see.

After looking at Ruby’s paws…really looking at them…today, I have a feeling she is going to be A LOT bigger than what the lady at the humane society said. Not that I mind. While I think little dogs are cute, I have always lived with big dogs and prefer that. The lady at the humane society said that Ruby should gain about 10-15 more pounds. Which would put her at 43-48 pounds…if paw size says anything about a dogs size, she’s going to be rather large.

I kind of wish we would have gotten two dogs at one time so Zoe and Ruby could have grown up together from day one in our house, but had I done that, then we wouldn’t have our special Ruby who is just the sweetest thing in the world…needs puppy school, but is sweet nonetheless.
