Today we took the kids shopping for jeans and a few other odds and ends that we needed. I didn’t sleep well the night before…OK I didn’t sleep at all the night before, so by mid-day, I was starting to lose all energy. My husband dropped my son and I off at home so I could rest. He and Bella were off for a daddy daughter shopping trip. I mentioned I wanted her to possibly wear something with navy blue in it (it just looks really nice with her eyes and her new glasses).
So off they went. I felt a tad bad that I didn’t warn my husband ahead of time what Bella is like shopping. She literally runs through the girls section, grabbing whatever she sees in her size and then proceeds to put on a fashion show in the dressing room. But then I thought about what huge shame it would be for Dan to miss out on something like that! Maybe I’ll have him go shopping for dresses with her, some day!
They were gone for several hours. When I woke up, I had a few text messages from Dan to check out some options for picture day.
Now Bella is cute no matter what she puts on…but come on Dan, A SCHOOL UNIFORM??? I texted him back right away and told him that she was cute, but I think the first outfit looked rather school uniformish. He called me laughing and said “that’s because it was…I didn’t realize at first”. Um…OK! The second outfit is cute, but I could by the way Bella was dipping her chin down, that she was not very comfortable in it.
So…did they pick out something cute? Oh you betcha! And Bella definitely has her father wrapped around her finger…she went on a mini daddy daughter shopping spree with him and picked out A LOT of nice new things. Picture day is on Wednesday…I’ll post what she chose then!
